Read-only by design.
MeterParity is designed to answer one question: did the usage your product delivered match the usage your billing system received? It does not need permission to change your customers' billing records to answer that question.
What MeterParity does not change
MeterParity does not create charges, modify invoices, change prices, cancel subscriptions, issue refunds or update customer billing records as part of its audit and monitoring workflow.
Minimal cloud ingest
The current cloud ingest contract accepts aggregate audit results such as usage totals, discrepancy totals, affected-customer counts and calculated revenue exposure. Raw customer-level source records are not required by that interface.
Account isolation
MeterParity workspaces are isolated by organization. Authenticated browser requests are verified server-side before organization-scoped data is returned.
Credentials and agent access
Application secrets are kept server-side. Agent tokens are validated server-side and are not stored in browser code. Access should be revocable when an installation is no longer required.
Payments
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. MeterParity does not store card numbers.
